Elizabeth Dudash Beckwith died on December 3, 2018, at the Katherine Luther Residential Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Clinton; her home for more than six years. The daughter of Alex and Mary Wasalisin Dudash, she was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Beckwith; a daughter, Catherine Hughes; and 11 siblings.
An avid gardener and the world's best mother, Elizabeth was employed at Joel's Frontyard Steakhouse in Verona for 32 years. She is survived by Gary (Satoko) Beckwith, Yokosuka, Japan; son-in-law Jody Hughes, Gilbertsville, NY; Deborah Beckwith, Aurora, CO; Sandra Beckwith, Fairport, NY; Steve (Jan) Beckwith, Grafton, MA; Richard Beckwith, Lodi, WI; Diane Shephard, Frankfort, NY; several nieces and nephews; and many treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her great joy.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 16 at 4 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Wright Settlement Cemetery in the spring.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM prior to the funeral.
The family would like to thank the Willoway unit staff for their friendship and loving care and asks that any memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the charity of your choice.
