View Tribute Book Elizabeth Jean “Betty” Grider, age 83, of Rome, passed away November 11, 2021, at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born June 10, 1938, in Utica, a daughter of the late John and Viola Overrocker Lombardo, and educated in Rome schools.  Betty was united in marriage to Kenneth W. Grider, on July 26, 1958 in Rome; he died on March 12, 2007.  She was a former manager at Hummel’s Office Supply. Betty is survived by her son and daughter in law, John and Michele Grider of Rome; a sister, Joanne White of Florida; a grandson, Michael Grider; a niece and nephew, Debra and Martin Allen; and cousins, Patty Kuther and Mark Hansen. All are welcome to attend a graveside service on Monday at 11:00 AM, at Evergreen Cemetery, on South Street in Westmoreland. There are no calling hours.  To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Elizabeth Grider, please visit our Tree Store
