Donna L. Evanciew, age 54, of Rome, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2019 at Rome Memorial Hospital.
Donna was born in Fairfield, CA on September 26, 1964 to Donald and Rosaleine Hagan Marvin. She was formerly married to John Evanciew. Donna was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.
Donna is survived by a daughter, Holly (Corey DeCarr) Evanciew; two sons, Joshua and Jeffrey Evanciew; her father, Donald; her granddaughters, Amerie Rose, Katara, Claire, and Brooke all of Rome; several step grandchildren; a brother, Joseph (Joy) Marvin of Albion, NY; a niece, Amber Marvin; an aunt and uncle, Elaine (Gary) Davis; her former husband with whom she remained good friends with, John (Carol Naugle) Evanciew; and a special friend, Jennifer VanBenschote. She was predeceased by her mother.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 6 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 6 PM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
