LaMont, age 65, of Rome, passed away on December 16, 2021 after a brief illness.Dennis was born in Rome on May 14, 1956 to the late William C. and Isabell Erenwein LaMont and graduated from RFA. He drove taxi for Brown’s Taxi in Rome, and also worked at Rome Developmental Center for several years.Dennis is survived by his sisters, Marilyn (John) Kennedy of Auburndale, FL, Gail LaMont of Timberlake, NC, Sherri (David) Kingwater of Floyd, and Patricia King of Ocala, FL; his brothers, William (Carla) LaMont of Clinton, WA, and Edward LaMont of Rome; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Cathy Nelson and Linda Anderson; and brothers, Lee Proper, Ernest LaMont, and Francis LaMontThe family would like to give a special thank you to his long-time companion, Patricia Pierce of Utica, for her love and support.Funeral services will be private.Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
