Deborah C. Anno, age 52, of Rome, passed away July 6, 2012, after a brief illness.
She was born February 23, 1960, in Rome, a daughter of Anthony and Bertha Niedzielski Anno, and was educated in Rome schools and graduated from the BOCES LPN program. Debbie worked at Rome Center (Stonehedge Nursing Home) for the past 14 years. She was a former member of Delta Omega Sorority.
Debbie loved her family, especially her daughters, Jenna and Amanda, and all the friends she met through life. She always enjoyed sports and played softball for many years in various leagues.
Debbie is survived by her daughters, Jenna and Amanda; mother, Bertha Anno; sisters and brothers in law, Shirley and John Boyer of Rome, Sandy and Tim Thomas of Lee Center; two brothers, Robert Anno of Rome, and Randall Anno of Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her father, Anthony.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Monday 4 to 8 PM.
