Morecroft, age 66, of Rome, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2024, at home surrounded by his ;oving family.Dean was born in New Martinsville, West Virginia on November 11, 1957 to the late Andrew  and Janet Gleason Morecroft and graduated from RFA. He worked at the Savoy where he was the bar manager for over 42 years, providing many people with a laugh or just a friend to talk to. He enjoyed drinking, smoking, and making cocktails for his friends and familyDean is survived by his loving brothers, Bruce (Kelly) Morecroft of Pembroke Pines, FL and Scott (Sandy) Morecroft of Marshfield, MA; a niece and several nephews; and close friends. He was predeceased by a brothers, Andrew Morecroft Jr. . A Celebration of Life will be held on August 17, 2024, at the American-Ukrainian Veterans & Mens Club, 208 Canal Street, Rome, starting at 4 PM.Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
