Proper, age 37, passed away in the comfort of his home, on November 16, 2020. David was born in Rome on January 31, 1983, to the late Lawrence and Tammy Underwood Proper and educated in the Camden Schools. On July 15, 2017, he was united in marriage to the former Jamie Korman. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He loved his cats and helping anyone he could. His pride and joy, however, were his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Jamie; six daughters, Hannah Proper, Haley (Daniel Jr.) Wossner, Bryanna and Emmelie Darling, and Makenzye and Kyleygh Taylor; two sons, David Proper Jr., and Collin (Mekenzie Ching) Pink; four cherished grandchildren, Daniel III, Chase, Addison, and Braelyn; his granddaughter, Ryleigh, who is on the way; a sister, Jennifer Proper; a brother, Matthew (Jen) Proper; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dog, Axl. He was predeceased by a son, Hunter. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
