David Wayne Bielby, age 79, of Blossvale, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, at SUNY Upstate on September 8, 2026, with his family by his bedside.

David was a member of the Holstein Friesian Association and was a charter member of the Camden chapter of the FFA. He also belonged to the Farm Bureau and the Blossvale Fire Department.

He loved to haul anything that needed moving - equipment, lumber, hay, or whatever was needed. He was happiest behind the wheel. In fact, many will remember him by his driving; if you were ever in a hurry and found yourself behind him on the road, you knew you weren't getting anywhere fast. It became one of his most endearing trademarks, a small reminder of the unhurried, steady pace he lived by.

In keeping with David's wishes, there will be no services. 

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
