Daniel P. Rouillier

Daniel "Danny" P. Rouillier, age 81, of the Town of Lee, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, at Rome Health, after a brief illness.

Danny was born in Utica, on April 29, 1943, to the late Jesse and Margaret Turland Rouillier. On August 26, 2000, he was united in marriage to the former Maxine Meagher. Danny worked as a truck driver for Mosca Bros. Moving and Storage and ATC Services. He was a member of the Lee Legion SAL, the ROBC, and a past member of the Rome Rotary and Rome Chamber of Commerce.

Danny is survived by his loving wife, Maxine; his daughters, Lorrie (Leonard) Tucker, and Tammy Geer; his son, William Disburger; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; his sister, Linda Como Franz; his brother, Jon (Cindy) Rouillier; several nieces and nephews; and his K-9 companion, Polly Paws. He was predeceased by a great grandson, Braelyn; his sisters, Diane Carpenter and Joan Van Court; his brother, Jesse Rouillier; and his other K-9 buddy, Sir Poppy.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 6 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 6 PM prior to the service.

A Celebration of Life will be held later in the summer as well.
