Daniel V. "Dan" Fronczek

Daniel V. Fronczek, age 57, of Oneida, passed away peacefully, January 21, 2017, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born March 21, 1959, in Syracuse, a son of Stanley and Mary Jane Laskowski Fronczek. Dan graduated from Baldwinsville High School, earned an Associate Degree at SUNY Cobleskill, Bachelor Degree at SUNY Geneseo, Master Degree in Geology at Western Michigan University and a Master Degree in Education at LeMoyne College. He worked many years as a geologist and later became an Earth Science teacher at Rome Free Academy.
Dan is survived by his mother, Mary Jane; a sister, Teresa {Everett} Marshall; two brothers, Christopher {Debi} Fronczek and Stephen Fronczek; and four nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Stanley.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Saturday 11 AM to 2 PM, prior to the funeral service.
