Obituary

Christopher L. Edwards, Sr., age 54, of Clinton, passed away unexpectedly at home on February 6, 2026.

Chris was born in Rome, NY on March 3, 1971, to Patricia P Lohr, and graduated from Adirondack High School. For 25 years, Chris was dedicated to CRM Rental Management where he played an integral role in the company's growth and success. During his tenure, he built not only a strong professional legacy but also a lasting friendship with the company's founder and CEO, Thomas KirkPatrick. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, spending time with his loved ones, and being the best Poppa to his grandchildren.

Chris is survived by his children, Brittany (Joe Holmes) Edwards, Anthony McConnell, Kristen Edwards, and Christopher (Daniel) Sbiroli; 13 grandchildren; his mother, Patricia Lohr; his sister, Kimberly (Russell) Cornell; his brother, Scott (Barbara) Edwards; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his step-father, John Lohr.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 6 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, Rome.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 6 PM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, Attn: Memorial Donations, 725 E. Adams Street, Syracuse, NY 13210.
