In Loving Memory of Christina Maria Folsom
Our hearts are broken as we share the loss of Tina, a woman who lived her life with boundless love, faith, and an incomparable sense of generosity. Tina passed away on December 19, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family, leaving a legacy of love and light that will never fade.
To know Tina was to know a woman who radiated love and happiness. Her faith in God was her foundation, guiding her through life with grace and strength. Tina loved —cheering on her Pittsburgh Steelers, having a beer, and opening her home to anyone in need. Whether you were family member, a friend, or just passing through Tina made you feel like you belonged.
Her family was her everything. She is survived by her soulmate and the love of her life, Liz Breen, who filled her life with love and laughter for the past 20 years. Also, Her brother, Robert Folsom, his wife Sue-Anna, and their daughter Cieran. Her oldest son, Kevin, and his wife, Miriam, continue her legacy, with her beloved grandchildren: Malik, Xylene, Jaleesa, and Leyla. Christina’s love also surrounded her beloved daughter Julia and her little boy, Avan, who was also her Godson who gave her heart constant pride and joy.
Christina’s chosen family meant just as much to her. Cindy Dozois and her finance Ray Peck, along with their children Avan, Drake, Audreyella, and Gabriel. Shirrice Nonluecha and her fiancé Griffin Leoni.
Preceding her in passing were her beloved parents, Julia and Robert Folsom, as well as her closest cousin, Luanne Townsend, who was like a sister to her. Christina spoke often of the family she lost but always carried them close to her heart.
Her family invites you to honor Christina’s memory by living as she did: with open arms, a loving and forgiving heart ,and a fierce loyalty to those you hold dear. Please raise a toast, extend kindness to someone in need, or cheer a little louder for the Pittsburgh Steelers this season—she would’ve loved that.
Mom, you were the glue that held us together. You taught us what it means to love deeply and unconditionally. We will miss you every day, but your Love lives on in all of us. Rest in peace knowing you’ll always be close in our hearts.
