Chris E. Jensen, Sr., age 68, of the Town of Floyd, passed away peacefully at his home on February 21, 2017.
He was born November 15, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a son of the late Chris Jensen, Paul and Ruby Webb Bandura, and graduated from Salinas High School, Salinas, CA, in 1966. Chris was united in marriage to the former Mary Fazekas, on August 14, 1971, at St. Leo's Church, Holland Patent.
For the past 22 years, Chris worked as a Logistics Manager at the Walmart Distribution Center, retiring in June 2016.
His joys in life were spending vacations with his family, riding his motorcycle and the wonderful times at his camp on the St Lawrence River.
Chris is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons and a daughter in law, Chris E. Jr., and Corrine Jensen of Barneveld, and Dale Jensen of Albany; two sisters and a brother in law, Earlene and Fred Burden of Biggs, CA, and Elaine Joy of Corbett, OR; survived by several other cherished brother in laws and sister in laws, too many too mention; and the light of his life two grandchildren, Cole and Cash Jensen.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in the spring at Floyd Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday 10 AM to 1 PM, prior to the funeral service.
