Catherine "Kitty" L. Wilson, age 88, formerly of Holland Patent, passed away peacefully April 24, 2012, at Sunset Nursing and Rehab Center.



She was born October 26, 1923, in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of Edward and Emma Stansbury Lambdin, and educated in Baltimore schools. Kitty was united in marriage to Earl K. Wilson on December 12, 1941 in Maryland; he died December 23, 1984.



Kitty's life revolved around her family as she devoted her life to caring for her disabled daughter, Winnie. Her many hobbies included cooking for, and entertaining her family, knitting, crocheting and sewing.



Kitty is survived by a daughter, Winnie Wilson; four sons and daughters in law, Roger and Mary Ann Wilson of Remsen, Harry and Sue Wilson of Holland Patent, Earl and Darlene Wilson of Holland Patent and Alan and Sandy Wilson of Holland Patent; several grand and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters and brothers.



The funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Steuben Corners Cemetery.



Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.
