Coe, age 74, of Durhamville, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2023, with her loving family at her side.She was born February 17, 1949, in Rome, a daughter of Harold J. and Alberta Gill Coons, and graduated from Adirondack Central School in 1967.  Catherine was united in marriage to Allen Coe on June 8, 1968, in Lee Center; he died on July 4, 2006.  She formerly worked as a senior typist at Madison Oneida BOCES in Verona, retiring after several years of service.  She was a former member of the Moose Lodge 272 in Oneida, New London Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Ronnie Smith Fan Club, NYS Fire and Police Association, Oneida County Fire & Police Association, Rome Emergency Management Services and Rome Auxiliary Police Association.  She served as a safety instructor for the National Safety Council.  Catherine also was a talented crafter who loved crocheting and attending craft fairs.Catherine is survived by her children, Crystal Coe of Durhamville, Adam and Maggie Coe of Canastota, and Wayne and Emma Coe of Sylvan Beach; her mother Alberta; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her father, Harold Coons and grandchildren, Brandy and Sierra Couch.The funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
