Catherine Brown Focht, age 85, formerly of Schank Avenue, passed away February 19, 2010, at Bethany Gardens.
She was born November 2, 1924, in New York City, a daughter of Charles W. and Delia Nuland Brown. Catherine was united in marriage to William A. Focht, on December 1, 1945, in New York City; he died years ago. She was formerly employed at Revere Copper Products. She was a former member of the Rome VFW, Ladies Auxiliary.
Catherine is survived by a sister, Mary Soiffer of California; her Godchild, Mary Ann Doti of Utica; special friends, Cheryl Pazdur and the Dorn Family; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Meyer.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7:30 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
