Carol J. Rasha, age, 56, of Rome, passed away August 17, 2009.
She was born October 13, 1952, in Rome, a daughter of Harold and Betty Converse Berndt, and educated in Rome schools. Carol was united in marriage to Gary E. Rasha on November 14, 1986, in Rome. She was formerly employed at CNYDSO in Rome. Carol loved being outdoors, spending time gardening or traveling through the lakes and mountains. She loved animals, especially her dogs.
Carol is survived by her husband, Gary; two daughters and a son in law, Heather and Michael Andrewski of Rome, and Tamara Todi of North Carolina; two sons, Ryan K. Nutting of Rome and Jeffrey P. Rasha of Rome; and grandchildren, Nolan Andrewski, and Amber, Megan and Chris Todi.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 8:00 PM at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Saturday 6 to 8 PM prior to the service.
