Carmella "Carm" T. Wynne of Rome, passed away peacefully Friday, November 25, 2011.



She was born in Rome, a daughter of the late Sebastian and Flavia Fanfarillo Galluppi. Carm attended St. Mary's School and graduated from Rome Free Academy. She met her husband, Boyd M. Wynne, of Hamilton, Missouri, while he was working at Griffiss Air Force Base, and on May 2, 1953, the two were united in marriage at the Church of St. John the Baptist. They were married for 53 years until Boyd passed away in 2006.



Carmella worked as a cafeteria worker in the Rome City School District. She was a communicant of the Church of St. John the Baptist, and was a woman of faith, and prayed daily. Her many interests included cooking, baking, and reading. The main focus of her life was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Nothing gave her more pleasure than spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed, more than words can convey. God bless you Mom!



Carm is survived by her two daughters and sons in law, Patricia and Richard Hannmann of East Greenbush, NY, and Lorraine and Thomas Augustine of Pennellville, NY; sisters and brothers in law, Amelia Nigro, Tomasina Maxim, Margaret and Joseph Mayes and Barbara and James Wells; and three grandchildren, Christopher, Lauren and Eric Hannmann; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Filomena Verminski and Mary Galluppi and two brothers, Louis Galluppi, Michael Galluppi and Joseph Galluppi.



Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:15 AM from the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, and at 9:00 AM at the Church of St. John the Baptist. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.



Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Monday 5 to 8 PM



Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John the Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
