View Tribute Book Brian Donald Engel, age 77, of Rome, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024 at home, with his wife, Brenda, at his side.Brian was born in Menominee, Michigan on March 17, 1947 to the late Ervin and Alice Knuth Engel, and graduated from Menominee High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, and was honorably discharged. He earned his associate's degree from MVCC in 1987. On June 3, 1989, he was united in marriage to the former Brenda Sancomb. Brian worked as a machine operator for Revere Copper. Brian enjoyed electronics, airplanes, and museums. He was also a civil war buff.Brian is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; his son from his first marriage, Ronald (Kelly) Engel of Camden; his granddaughter, Gracie Engel; his sister, Janice Wilke; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Bruce and Mark Engel.Funeral services will be private.Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
