Amato, age 57, of Rome, passed away on December 28, 2022, unexpectedly after a long illness.Brian was born in Geneva, New York, on June 14, 1965 to Victor Sr. and Leona Wilson Amato. He was one of Rome's best auto mechanics. His passion and knowledge of cars and engines gave him a reputation where many people would ask him to repair their vehicles, ATVs, or anything else with an engine. Brian enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time with his grandson, Oliver.Brian is survived by his loving father, Victor Sr.; his three children, Brian (Mary Beth Lemmon) Amato, Jr., Toni Siefke, and Sabrina (Cameron Mumpton) Amato; his grandchildren, Oliver Siefke, whom he adored and cherished every day, and Piper Lemmon; his brothers, Bradford (Annie) Amato, and Victor (Jennifer) Amato, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Leona, on January 1, 2017.Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
