Beverly J. Seigler, age 82, of Rome, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Beverly was born in Rome on May 30, 1942, to the late Leonard and Delilah (Campbell) Trachsel. On March 3, 1962, she was united in marriage to Edward W. Seigler; a blessed union of 39 years until his passing on May 28, 2001. Over the years Beverly was employed by General Electric, Bethany Gardens, and Stonehedge Nursing Home. Beverly’s happiest moments were when she was spending time with her family. She was an avid baker, enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and caring for her many plants.
Beverly is survived by her daughters, Jean Dake, Dawn (John) Waite, Carol (Chuck) Bates, Lucy Seigler, and Ann (Brad) Amato, all of Rome; her son, William (Nanette) Seigler of FL; her stepson, Fred (Elizabeth) Seigler of Buffalo; 12 grandchildren, Andrew Seigler, Samantha (Mike) Bravo, Stephen (Chelsea) Dake, Brian (Mary Beth) Amato Jr., Toni Siefke, Sabrina (Cameron) Amato, Brittany (Anthony) Bell, Jessica Bates, Mathew Seigler, Devyn (Chad) Fisher, Miranda (Terry) Fisher, Kevin (Mikayla) Fisher, and five step-grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, Jolene, Violet, Oliver, Julian, Arryella, and Ronan; a sister, Kathy; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Emily Grosjean, Karlene Manthrop, Gloria Bartlett, and Patricia Medick; and her brothers, Leonard Trachsel, Norman Trachsel, and Lester Evans.
Relatives and friends may call at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 4 to 6 PM.
Beverly's funeral will be held immediately following calling hours on Thursday April 3, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
