Hafele, age 92, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at MVHS-St. Luke's Campus.Beverley was born in Little Falls, New York on September 13, 1931 to the late Frank and Edna Geiger Van Alstyne. She retired as a nurse's aide from the Marcy Psychiatric Center.Beverley is survived by her sons, Bill Hafele and Thomas Hafele; and her granddaughter, Lacy Stevens. She was predceased by her sister, Ester Van Alstyne; and her brother, Stan Van Alstyne.Funeral services will be at the convienence of the family.Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
