Evanciew, age 64, of Rome, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2020, at Strong Memorial Hospital, with her loving family at her side. She was born May 16, 1955, in Rome, a daughter of the late Howard and Catherine Carmen Beckwith, and graduated from Rome Free Academy.  Audrey was united in marriage to Michael “Butch” Evanciew, in Niagara Falls, NY.  She worked for many years as a cook for the Head Start Program in Rome. Upon retiring from her position with the Head Start Program, her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren. She loved to play outside with them, along with teaching them how to grow a garden. She was an avid gardener and could be found outside frequently during the summer months, growing a large garden alongside her husband. In the winter months, you could find her inside putting together puzzles or watching cooking shows on tv. Her presence and love with forever be missed by all who knew her. Audrey is survived by her husband, Butch; children, Amie and Martin Robinson of Cold Brook, NY, Alicia Evanciew of Rome, and Michael Evanciew and Sandi Havens of Lee Center; sisters, Patricia Lopez, Elaine (Stephen) Ferrare, Joann (John) Chervinski and Judy (Keith) Beckwith; brothers, Doug (Bernice) Beckwith, Donald Beckwith, John (Nancy) Beckwith, Keith (Debbie) Beckwith, Bob Beckwith, Chuck (Karen) Beckwith and Eric (Michelle) Beckwith; grandchildren, Nicholas, Nolan, Ayden and Adilynn; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister, Arlene Beckwith; and two brothers, Howard Jr. and Gary Beckwith. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 6 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
