Audrey Adragna passed away at home on January 2, 2025, after a brief illness.
Audrey was born March 25, 1933, in Oneida, NY to Arthur and Esther Tofte Kimball. She was one of eight children raised on Kimball Road in Vienna, NY. Audrey graduated from Camden Central School. In 1952, she married Martin Adragna, together they raised three children. Audrey worked at North Bay Elementary School. Years later, she and her husband owned and operated the Vienna Hotel. Audrey also worked at, and retired from Shar Mar Supply, where she was affectionately referred to as “the Wizard.” Her favorite job, however, was that of Mom/Gramma/GiGi.
Audrey is survived by her daughter, Shelley Adragna; her son, Marty (Betsy) Adragna; her grandchildren, Jeff (Corrina) Nobis, Jacki Bates, Carla Chandler and Sam Dimick; her great grandchildren, Evan Nobis, Sofia Nobis and Reid Dover; her sister, Gloria Meinen and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sherry Chandler in 1995 and her husband Martin Sr. in 1997.
In keeping with Audrey’s wishes, there will be no calling hours and services will be private at a later date. Burial will be in McConnellsville Cemetery, in the spring.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
