IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anthony J.
Pisano
January 24, 1969 – February 2, 2026
Anthony J. Pisano, age 57, of Rome, passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2026, with his loving family at his side, after a brief illness.
Anthony was born in Utica on January 24, 1969, to his father, John, and mother, Lorraine Rizzo-Pisano. He earned his associate's degree from Ashford University in Criminal Justice. He was very well known for his carpentry skills as well. He worked for PPL as a home health aide. He cared for his patients with such love and help. His hobbies were playing billiards, fishing with his brother from "another mother," Clem Atchley, doing crossword puzzles, playing chess with his wife and monopoly with his granddaughter, Daryan, collecting movie memorabilia and playing darts. He loved older western shows, horror movies, and history shows! He was a man of many passions. One of his favorite passions was spending many years learning how to cook! It truly was one of his favorite passions. He was such a loving and warm man. He would give the shirt off his back to help another in need!
Anthony is survived by his loving wifey, as he would always call her, of 25 years, Kienne Angela; his mother, Lorraine and step-father, Andrew Reiner; his daughters, Marisa Pisano and Abigail Pisano; two step-children, Katherine and Dakota Herne; ten beautiful grandchildren that he adored; his aunt, Rockie; Michael Pisano; and aunt, Phyllis LoVecchio (whom without the help of and support of not only emotionally but mentally this obituary of a very loved man would not have been possible), many cousins; and his best female friend, Anita Atchley. He was predeceased by his father, John and wife, Darlene Pisano; his loving maternal grandmother, Antoinette, and grandfather Tony Rizzo; his paternal grandparents, Lawrence Pisano and Margaret, his uncle, Lawrence Pisano; as well as uncle, Al Napoli. He was also predeceased by his step niece Lacy Lynn Hurwitz; and his wife's Mother: Mother Mary Timothy, Sister Mary Presentation, and Sister Joel. All his wife's mothers raised her in a convent that he did also love and spoke to regularly, especially on Catholic Holidays.
In keeping with Anthony's wishes, services will be private for family and his closest friends (by invitation only). This will be a memorial service. He also requests that his favorite music be played in a low level of the background of his memorial service. His family requests any and all pictures they may have be brought to add to poster boards for the entire memorial service to look at and remember him with love (pictures will be returned after the service.) We also ask any donations be made to St. Jude Children's Cancer Hospital.
The date of his memorial service will be announced at a later time as some of his family that wish to attend live in other states and we must all coordinate the perfect timing. Hopefully May! A beautiful warm spring day.
