Coons, age 92, of Durhamville, passed away peacefully on August 17, with her loving family at her side.She was born June 24, 1931, in Lewisburg, NY, a daughter of the late George and Isabelle Gill Hubbard.  Alberta was united in marriage to Harold J. Coons, on September 26, 1948, in Westernville; he died July 5, 2014.  She retired from Oneida Healthcare Center after many years of service.  She was a former member of the Oneida Moose Lodge and received the Academy of Friendship award.Alberta is survived by grandchildren, Crystal Coe of Durhamville, Adam and Maggie Coe of Canastota and Wayne and Emma Coe of Durhamville; many great and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Catherine Coe; siblings, Judy Webb, Shirley Barton and Joe Gill; and great grandchildren, Brandy and Sierra Couch.A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM, at Lee State Road Cemetery.There are no calling hours.
