Wanda P. "Soboleski" Secor

Wanda P. Secor, age 88, of Rome, passed away peacefully at home May 22, 2015.



She was born March 17, 1927, in Rome, a daughter of the late John and Louise Dombrowski Soboleski, and educated in Rome schools. She was married to George Secor. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church.



Wanda's life revolved around her family and home. She loved celebrating birthdays with her family, and feeding the birds all year long or any other animal that came onto her porch.

Wanda is survived by two daughters, Darlene and Pete Newey of Lee Center, and Debbie Benoit of Lee; a son and daughter in law, Bruce and Diane Underwood of Lee; and a step son Kim Secor; grandchildren, Kelli (Tim) Mettot, Billie Jo (Jim) Hildenbrandt, Michael Underwood, Monica Underwood and JoAnne (Hicham) Abboud; 7 great grandchildren, Jennifer, Cassandra, Natanna, Nathan, Kylee, Kaycee and Rayan; and 9 great, great grandchildren, Hailee, Randy, Zackery, Aidden, Dalton, Cody, Elexis Avery and Salvatore; and her lovable cats, Tiger and Salem. She was predeceased by her husband, George, son in law, Richard Benoit, and four sisters and brothers.



Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 AM, at Lee Valley Cemetery.



There are no calling hours.
